Frontier Shield is dedicated to promoting sound management of natural resources and all associated industries; where a balance of principles and practices integrates an environmentally sustainable impact on the natural ecology. Frontier Shield opposes the introduction of pollutants, but supports commercial innovation that results in efficient economies of scale and the development of useful and marketable products.

Frontier Shield investigations are conducted on industrial techniques, their specific impact on the natural environment, and the planetary implications of all introduced elements. Reports on natural resource issues are evaluated on educational merit, by responsibly examining all economic and scientific information without misleading representation of the facts. Issues are presented for reasonable debate, to encourage public awareness and appreciation of the values at stake.

Frontier Shield examines the entire cultural and socio-economic ramifications of the environmental movement, with consideration given to both political and scientific factors in the mix of societal values.

Frontier Shield is committed to the preservation of representative natural wilderness regions, to an ideal area of land and water features comprising 12 to 20 percent of the planet’s surface. Frontier Shield advocates minimal and monitored human interaction with sensitive wilderness regions, for the purposes of observation, research and light recreation where it is benign to intrinsic values. Funding earmarked specifically for wilderness protection is used to purchase lands and waterways identified as geophysical features in danger of being irrevocably damaged by human development.
